Happy Starcrafting

I hope everyone is actually happily Starcrafting this weekend, I wish I was! I might jump in and try get a bit of the singleplayer campaign done a bit later, who knows! But I thought I would throw a few updates on the site first. There’s ZOTAC and Go4SC2 later today, I will get some updates on what happened there later. Stay tuned!

StarCraft II Top-Ranked Players – Lists Updated

Blizzard are sticking with it, below you can find the top players from Europe, Korea, Latin America , North America , Southeast Asia and Taiwan. It is really cool how easily and fast they can get these lists up. Ah the benefits of Battle.net 2.0. I hope to see some South Africans on those lists soon!

This week’s rankings are in! Below you’ll find the top-ranked players from each region and the race they play.

I was actually not aware that there were this many regions!

GOMTV GSL

GOMTV Global Starcraft League Updates

With $170,000 up for grabs, the excitement surrounding the GOMTV Global Starcraft II League in South Korea has been off the hook. The first day of qualifications’ results are in and we have our first 32 players. Waiting patiently for day 2 results… It’s pretty amazing to me, the efficiency at which the guys handled all those players and culled the ones that were not worthy. Impressive! There are a couple of known names thus far, to us at least, that are still competing. The three biggest ones would be TLO, Artosis and IdrA. The rest of the players are all Koreans and I guess we have yet to see how our EU or US players will fare against them.
